ENGINEERS AND DESIGNERS OF INNOVATIVE PRODUCTION EQUIPMENT

Sequence:

  1. Operator manually assembles 2 parts
  2. Operator manually presses assembled parts
  3. Operator loads parts and assembled parts into part nests (2) of station #2
  4. Machine presses parts.
  5. Operator loads assembles into gauging fixture of station #3
  6. Machine dimensionally checks parts and records data
  7. Operator loads checked assemblies and part into orbital riveter(station#4)
  8. Machine rivets part and assemblies together
  9. Operator loads additional part and riveted parts into station #5 and manually presses them together
  10. Machine applies grease to the assembly
  11. Operator removes final assembly
 

 

 

 

Bushing Assembly Cell

Part assembly station.  Fully automated with the exception of initial part assembly, part loading at all stations, and 2 manual press operations.  All data is recorded as are all part counts to include various faults.  Operation can be done in any order or concurrently.
